Opening day at Scott’s Lobster Dock

New London ― Friday was opening day of the season at Captain Scott’s in New London.

Patty Polen and her daughter, Diane Balbat, both of Waterford, were the second customers to place an order. Polen said “It’s a nice day to come here and I couldn’t wait.”

The weather was expected to remain fair through Friday evening, when rain and wind was expected, according to WFSB Early Warning Weather.
