New London ― Craig Jackson, left, of Pittsfield, Mass., and Louis Fazio, of White Plains, N.Y., both seniors, walked across the snow covered campus Tuesday as the snow turned to rain after their morning classes at Mitchell College in New London.
Earlier in the morning Mitchell College announced that the college would close at 2 p.m.
The National Weather forecast for Wednesday is increasing clouds, with a high near 29 degrees, west winds of 11 to 14 miles per hour and wind chill values between 5 and 15 degrees.
