In South Korea, Mohegan’s Inspire secures 5-star hotel rating
Mohegan ― Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, Mohegan’s recently opened integrated resort in Incheon, South Korea, has been awarded a five-star hotel rating, a milestone essential to the scheduled opening of the resort’s casino later this year.
The rating, Korea’s highest, was issued by the Korea Tourism Association, which manages the Korean Hotel Rating System, Mohegan announced in a news release. Criteria included facility quality, hygiene and service standards.
Inspire’s “soft” opening took place on Nov. 30, 2023, at which time the nearly $1.7 billion development’s three hotel towers, a 15,000-seat arena, an indoor water park, restaurants and other amenities debuted.
The facility’s casino, retail outlets and other features are set to open by mid-2024.
