    Black Wolves snap losing streak

    The New England Black Wolves snapped its three-game losing streak with an 18-7 victory over the Rochester Knighthawks in a National Lacrosse League game on Saturday night at Mohegan Sun Arena.

    Callum Crawford led New England (5-3) with four goals and eight assists, Reilly O'Connor had three goals and two assists, Stephan Leblanc had two goals and three assists, Joe Resetarits had three goals and an assist and Tony Malcom scored twice.

    Holden Cattoni had three goals for Rochester (1-8). New England outshot its opponent 70-42, grabbed 35 more loose balls and went 21 of 30 from the faceoff X. Doug Jamieson made 35 saves for the Black Wolves.

    New England plays at the New York Riptide in the Nassau Coliseum on Friday at 7:30 p.m., then returns home on Sunday, March 1 to play the Halifax Thunderbirds at 5 p.m.
