Groton — The Retired Activities Office at the Naval Submarine Base will sponsor the annual Military Retiree Appreciation Seminar on Oct. 19 in the Dealey Center Theater from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Several speakers will present information and updates on topics to include pending legislation in Congress pertinent to retirees, health care information, Tricare, retired pay, survivor benefits, legal assistance, Department of Veterans benefits, casualty assistance, social security, Medicare and more.

All military retirees from all branches of the armed forces are invited to attend. All persons desiring entrance to the sub base tmust show a valid military or retired ID card at the gate.
