Apple TV Plus has announced a 10-part docuseries called "The Dynasty" about the New England Patriots. It will be based on Waterford author Jeff Benedict's New York Times bestselling book of the same name and is being produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard's Imagine Documentaries in association with NFL Films.

The series will be directed by Matthew Hamachek, and there is no official release date.

During the two years he spent writing the book, Benedict had unprecedented interaction with the Patriots including multiple interviews with head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady and owner Robert Kraft. Subsequently, Hamachek and his crew were given access to the Patriots organization for the 2021 season, as well as to never-before-seen footage and audio files from the team's archives.
