Honky tonk star Toby Keith hits Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday

Drinking is a time-honored, integral conceptual component of honky-tonk – and, in the great anatomical chart of popular music, honky-tonk would be the entity's bloated, yellow-moon liver.

Toby Keith is as enthusiastic a "drinkin' song" composer/singer as we've had in modern country. In celebration of that fact — and that he performs Friday in the Mohegan Sun Arena — let's see if you can guess which batch of the following song titles is NOT from his catalog.

    A. "Drunk Americans," "Rum is the Reason," "Every Time I Drink I Fall in Love" and "Drinks After Work"

    B. "Let's Shoot-Up Some Absinthe," "Drinkin' and Drivin' (Again!)" and "I Traded Mama for Some Tallboys"

    C. "I Like Girls That Drink Beer," "I Love This Bar" and "Cold Beer Country"

    D. "Beers Ago," "Whiskey Girl," "Get Drunk and Be Somebody" and "Get My Drink On"

If you guessed batch B, you're right. Otherwise, they're all Toby! In fact, a few of those songs are on his brand new album, "35 MPH Town." It should be pointed out that he writes about a lot of stuff besides booze, and he's also great fun in performance. Chris Janson opens the show.

    Toby Keith, 8 p.m. Friday, Mohegan Sun Arena; $65 and $85; 1-888-664-3426.
