Tim McGraw and Faith Hill return to Mohegan Sun
Tim McGraw, stay hydrated!
McGraw collapsed onstage during a March concert in Ireland, and his wife and tour mate Faith Hill reported that he was dehydrated. In the months since, he has seemed to be fine, so we expect a dynamic show by McGraw when he and Hill bring their tour back around to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday.
The dynamic duo, married for 22 years, performed here a year ago, and that was a memorable concert. They are, after all, country music icons. Actually, their reach extends beyond country. Hill crossed over to the pop charts with “Breathe,” for instance, and McGraw has expanded into acting, with roles in “The Blind Side,” “The Shack” and “Friday Night Lights.”
If this performance holds true to their last time here, McGraw and Hill will duet (their latest CD is their first album of duets) and will each run through their own greatest hits — and the crowd will swoon.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Mohegan Sun Arena; with Caitlyn Smith; $79-$149; 1-800-745-3000.
