If you had forgotten what a tremendous singer Faith Evans is, the recent season of “The Masked Singer” would have reminded you. Hidden under the glamorously elaborate costume and mask of Skunk, Evans gave some of the best performances that show has seen. Her smoky voice was a marvel of emotion, range and dexterity.

And if you missed “The Masked Singer” entirely, well, Evans will be heading a very impressive concert lineup on Friday at Foxwoods, so you can catch up with her artistry live.

Evans is part of this Femme It Forward show that also boasts SWV, Mya and 702. (Femme It Forward, which focuses on female empowerment and strives to bring more inclusivity to the music industry, produces concerts as part of its wide-ranging efforts.)

The concert info on the Foxwoods website does note that “Acts are subject to change and or line-up without notice.” Let’s hope nothing changes and this gifted group is who’s onstage Friday.
