We used to joke about how PR for older acts would always say they “still got it.”

Well, in Tom Jones’ case, it’s actually true.

Jones, now 82, has a voice that is still strong and emotionally moving. The number he recently sang in honor of his late wife on “The Voice UK,” where he is a judge, had the audience and another judge in tears.

So, even if he doesn’t swivel those hips like he did in the 1960s, you can expect Jones to give a powerful vocal performance when he is in concert Friday at Foxwoods.
