    Pentatonix plays Mohegan Sun Thursday

    Pentatonix loves Christmas music.

The a cappella group just released the album “Holidays Around the World.” But that’s not all. In past years, they’ve offered up “Evergreen” (2021), “We Need a Little Christmas” (2020), “Christmas Is Here!” (2018), “A Pentatonix Christmas” (2016), and “That’s Christmas to Me” (2014). And, who knows, maybe I’ve overlooked some.

What this all means is that the ensemble will have plenty of numbers to choose from when it brings its Pentatonix Christmas Tour 2022 to Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday.

It has a nice kind of symmetry that Pentatonix, who won a season of the now-defunct “Sing-Off” show on NBC, has selected as its opening act a group that recently won “The Voice.” The sibling trio Girl Named Tom will be on the bill with Pentatonix.

Pentatonix, 7 p.m. Thursday, Mohegan Sun Arena; with Girl Named Tom; $59-$250; mohegansun.com.
