Evelyn Raynor Jabaut, 85, formerly of North Haven, wife of the late Jean Jabaut, died Jan. 12 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Evelyn was born Sept. 8, 1928 in New Haven to the late William and Mary Malone Raynor. She worked for SNET Company for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her son David Jabaut and his wife Cynthia of East Haven, and daughter Mary Jean Ames of North Haven.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday, Jan. 18 at 9 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Friday, Jan. 17 from 5-8 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Frances Cabrini Church Development Fund, 6 Welch Road, North Haven, CT  06473.
