Edith Gill, 99, of Guilford, formerly of Holyoke, Massachusetts, died Feb. 6 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford with family members by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Edward F. Gill.

Mrs. Gill was born in Holyoke on Jan. 17, 1915, daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Holdroyd) Mitton. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Mrs. Gill is survived by her son Ted Gill (Irene); daughters Marlene Kruczek (Raymond) and Madalene Violette; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Edythe Rinaldi; and a great-grandson Nicholas Kruczek.
