Waterford — Waterford clinched the Eastern Connecticut Conference Medium Division volleyball title and an unbeaten league record with a sweep of Bacon Academy on Wednesday.

Game scores were 25-12, 25-16 and 25-19.

Amanda Tourjee finished with 25 assists while Lexi Moger had 16 kills and Ashli Rossi added seven kills for the Lancers (13-5, 8-0).

Bacon Academy, which could have earned a share of the title with a win, fell to 9-9, 6-2.

In other games:

• Mariah Abstetar had 32 digs and Michelle Klinikowski had 17 kills as Ledyard beat Fitch 25-20, 25-16, 25-17. Jenny Nohara had 23 assists for Ledyard (18-1, 7-1). Mae Sefransky had 22 assists and Mickie Pinto had 26 digs for the Falcons (9-9, 3-5) and Mackenzie Aldridge and Sofie Clark added nine and eight kills, respectively.

• East Lyme lost to RHAM, the state's No. 1 ranked team, 3-0. Game scores were 25-14, 25-10 and 25-20. Morgan Lloyd had 11 kills and Brooke Soderberg added seven service points for the Vikings (12-6).

• Wheeler's Alysia Rathbun had 10 digs and three kills and five aces, however Windham won the ECC Small match 25-9, 22-25, 25-9, 25-23. Sara Gaccione had 20 digs, Paula Herran had six kills and 10 digs and Christy Sehl added five kills and five aces for Wheeler (4-10, 0-8).

• Grasso Tech finished its season with a 25-16, 25-8, 25-21 win over Vinal Tech in the Constitution State Conference. Kierra Sebastian had 18 points and three aces, Pam Oliveras had four kills, Nicole Rodriguez had nine points and Tiffany Stafford had five kills for Grasso (6-12).

• Holly Fiscus had five assists and Maddy Grabowski had eight digs in Old Lyme's Shoreline Conference loss to East Hampton. Game scores were 25-21, 25-10 and 25-11.

Boys' soccer

• Connor Callaghan scored in the 45th minute on an assist by Vasilios Fokiadis as East Lyme edged New London, 1-0. Jack Kosokowski had four saves for East Lyme (10-1-5). Eddie Santiago had 10 saves for the Whalers (4-9-2).

• Chris Tsang scored his second goal with 20 seconds left in the second overtime to give Stonington a 2-1 win over Ledyard. Colin Kryzaniak had an assist for Stonington (10-4-2) and Steven Zelepos had five saves. Troy Hedman scored for the Colonels (2-13-1) and Shane Fors had six saves.

• Andris Vital scored three goals and Colby Coombs and Tim Paz each added one, leading Norwich Free Academy past Plainfield, 5-0. Goalie Seth Strader made four saves for the Wildcats (10-4-1).

• Joe Roberto, Connor Murphy and Yianni Longinidis each had a goal and an assist in Waterford's 4-0 win over Fitch. Aaron Schwartz had a goal while Austin Schwartz and Kyle Waters combined to make four saves and post the shutout for the Lancers (15-1).

• Ryan Goldberg's second-half penalty kick lifted Bacon Academy past Montville, 1-0. Cory Meigs made eight saves for Montville (11-4). Austin Rhodes had four saves for the Bobcats (9-4-3).

• Luiz Dantas scored two goals and Nate Fernandes added one goal and one assist in St. Thomas More's 3-2 win over Williams School. Sotiraq Vangjieli had two goals and Liam Tresnan added an assist for the Blues.

Field hockey

• Sam Linhares scored with seven minutes left to give Williams School the lead but the Blues couldn't hold on, losing to Westover, 2-1, in overtime. Carrie Meneo had an assist and goalie Sydney Olstein made nine saves for Williams (1-6-2).

Cross country

• Both the Williams School boys and girls competed in the Jacober Invitational in Barrington, R.I.

In the boys' race, the Blues placed second with 51 points and Justin Shafner took second in 17:42. Ben Lahm was third in 18:18 while Adam Verhoeff (18:47) placed seventh and Richard Pittsinger (19:59) was 20th. Sam Schavoir (20:31) took 22nd and Russell Parker (20:48) was 25th for the Blues.

In the girls' race, the Blues ran as individuals. Sarah Billis placed 14th in 24:13 and Juli Brown took 15th in 24:14 while Christine Gelotte (38:28) was 56th.

Women's soccer

• Freshman defender Sophie Spiller scored two goals and senior Kaylee Woodford made nine saves to earn her 18th career shutout, as Mitchell blanked Wheelock, 5-0, in the New England Collegiate Conference. Samantha Cilenti, Alexandra Mahar and Katie McBride also scored for the Mariners (3-10, 3-5).

Women's volleyball

• Mitchell College remained in contention for a New England Collegiate Conference tournament berth with a 3-1 win over Daniel Webster. The Mariners (8-12, 3-4) rallied from a 16-4 deficit in the first set to secure a 25-23 win. They lost the second set (25-22) before taking the next two, 25-22 and 26-24.

Freshman Amanda Rowan had a season-high 21 kills and sophomore Amanda Garcia chipped in 14 kills. It was Mitchell's first win in the series in the six-year history of the conference.

• Kaitlin Cunningham had 39 assists to lead Conn College to its fourth consecutive win, a 3-1 win over Western Connecticut State University. Game scores were 25-22, 25-18, 24-26 and 25-20. Chloe Ainley had 13 kills and six blocks while Caroline Martin added 12 kills and five blocks for the Camels (11-9).

Men's water polo

• Connecticut College lost to Brown 14-3. Jason Robb had a goal, a block and an earned ejection, Nick DiLeo had four steals and Karan Das-Grande had a goal and two steals for Conn (3-21).
