A Groton man has been reported missing, according to Groton Town Police.

Max Scott, 28, was seen leaving his Quincy Court residence in Groton on the afternoon of June 25, according to a news release from police. Scott is a white male weighing 200 pounds with a height of 6 feet, 1 inch. He has blue eyes and brown hair.  

"Family reported that he and two associates were headed to a residence at 137 South Road," the news release reads. "According to Max's associates, he reportedly left 137 South Road at approximately 3 a.m. on June 26 heading north on foot and carrying a backpack."

Police are requesting assistance from the public, and for anyone with information about Scott's whereabouts to call Groton Town Police at (860) 441-6712. Police also encouraged residents and businesses to check home camera and video surveillance systems beginning on June 25.
