Norwich ― Police said they responded to a 911 call of gunshots fired at 6:02 p.m. Saturday night.

Patrol and detective units arrived to the scene at 575 Boswell Ave. and found the person who made the call and a car which had been shot multiple times. The car was unoccupied at the time of the shooting and no one was injured, police reported.

Police believe the incident to be domestic related and a targeted attack toward the victim.

Police said this investigation is still ongoing and a person of interest has been identified.
