Waterford ― No injuries were reported Monday morning in a car fire on the Exit 2 southbound off ramp of Interstate 395.

The fire was reported at 10:20 a.m. at the end of Exit 2, which intersects with Route 85. State police said Exit 2 was temporarily shut down while firefighters extinguished the flames.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal’s office.
