    Guilford Police Incident Report for Oct. 17

    The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town.     • A 52 year-old Durham Road resident was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both, after police stopped his vehicle for a violation, Church Street, 12:45 a.m.

    • A 41 year-old Boston Street resident was charged with possession of controlled substance, after police responded to a request for medical assistance and found an incident of use of a controlled substance, Village Walk, 3:57 p.m.

    • Family dispute, Kimberly Drive, 1:35 a.m.

    • Family dispute, Cindy Lane, 10:35 a.m.

    • A Schoolside Lane resident reported football players from nearby field urinating in woods, exposing themselves while doing so, in view in the resident’s home.

    • Criminal mischief, home damaged overnight, Willow Road.

    • Criminal mischief, “bitch” found written on car with red lipstick, knock heard on windows of home overnight, South Hoop Pole Road.

    • Suspicious activity, damage to storage door at rear of house, Waterside Drive.

    • A theft involving a vehicle being operated without permission was reported by a Village Walk resident.

    • Family dispute, Durham Road, 2700 block, 7:24 p.m.
