    Guilford Police Incident Report for Jan. 17

    The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names.     • No arrests were made.

    • Roaming dogs were reported on Russet Drive, 7:51 a.m.

    • Suspicious activity, caller reports hearing shots fired at rear of property, Chasse Drive, 8:01 a.m.

    • Suspicious person, male in overalls carrying a large stick, roaming property on Moose Hill Road, 3:15 p.m.

    • A theft from a residence was reported, police did not provide the incident address; 3:33 p.m.

    • Credit cards were found at Guilford Food Center, 77 Whitfield St.

    • A rabid raccoon was reported found in the garage of a Trailwood Drive resident, 5:03 p.m. A K9 officer responded to the call.

    • Family dispute, Apple Tree Lane, 7:15 p.m.

    • Police assisted Middletown police with a request for assistance when dropping off a juvenile at a Guilford address, 7:23 p.m.

    • Police assisted Madison police attempting to locate a Woodland Road resident wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court. Police determined the man was not a resident at that address anymore.
