Stonington — An 18-year-old Norwich man was charged with sexual assault early Tuesday after he was found in bed with a 14-year-old girl at a home in Pawcatuck.

Prince E. Ulysse, 18, of 11 Slater Ave. was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. He was being held on a $15,000 bond and was slated to enter a plea in New London Superior Court on Thursday.

Just past 6 a.m. on Tuesday, the girl’s grandfather reported to police that he had found a young male in his granddaughter’s bedroom. Police said that both Ulysse and the girl admitted to having had sexual intercourse. Due to her age, the girl cannot consent to having sexual activity with an adult.
