Teen charged for brandishing gun at Norwich house party
Norwich — Police have arrested a second person linked to a Nov. 1 shooting during a fight at a Norwich house party.
Kenyatta Peake, 18, was charged Friday with first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree threatening and risk of injury to a minor for allegedly pointing a gun at someone during the early morning fight at the 505 East Main St. party. Peake has a last-known address of 175 Broadway, Apt. 6, in Norwich.
Police previously arrested 18-year-old Joseph Desir, 18, for allegedly shooting another partygoer. The victim sustained a minor head injury from a gunshot and was not admitted to the hospital. There was at least one juvenile present during the shooting.
Peake was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and scheduled for an appearance on Dec. 26 in Norwich Superior Court.
