Ledyard – Ledyard scored all of its goals in the first half on the way to a 3-1 boys’ soccer victory over Fitch on Tuesday night.

Freshman Ben Crowe scored his first career goal in the fifth minute while Peyton Luther made it 2-0 in the 15th minute and Sebby Fieldsend, who assisted on the first two goals, made it 3-0 for the Colonels (2-2-1) just two minutes before halftime.

Ben Fieldsend added an assist and goalie Paulo Templeton made three saves for Ledyard while Ben Claspell scored in the second half for the Falcons (1-3) and Nate Virtue stopped 14 shots.

In other matches:

• Matias Arcelus, assisted by Evan Piotrowski, scored he game’s only goal in overtime as Waterford defeated East Lyme 1-0. Goalie Ben Dubicki made 12 saves for the Lancers (3-2-1). East Lyme is 3-2.

• Nolan Muncaster scored a pair of goals while Chris Baukus added a goal and three assists as Montville routed Tourtellotte 7-0. In addition, Noah Keenan had one goal and two assists, Aaron Gould one goal and one assist, Colby Cowan and Elijah Klucek eadh had a goal and Jack Giurleo an assist for Montville (3-1-1).

• Ryan Turner had two goals and one assist while Sal Alessio added a goal and two assists in Stonington’s 9-0 ECC Division II win over New London. Brett Caron, Quintin Phillips, Sergio DeOliveria, Sawyer van Lew, Connor Tavares and Gustav Burke also scored goals for the Bears (4-0-1, 2-0) while Anders Dahl and Chase Donnamura each had an assist. New London is 0-2, 0-2.

• Old Saybrook defeated Old Lyme 3-0 in the Shoreline Conference. Jonah Lathrop stopped five shots in goal for the Wildcats (2-3, 2-2).

• Gennaro Lavado and Evan Merchant scored goals as Griswold edged Putnam 2-1. The Wolverines are 3-1.

• Harrison Giambattista and Ethan Lackner scored twice for Killingly in its 6-0 win over Wheeler. John Fitzgibbons and Amani Kamau scored for Killingly. Jon Anderson had seven saves for the Lions (2-3).

• St. Bernard made a pair of first-half goals hold up in a 2-1 victory over Lyman Memorial. Jose Pacheco scored in the eighth minute for the Saints (3-0-1) and Conor McWilliams made it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Lyman (2-3-1) drew closer in the second half when Cody Rahmann scored with just over three minutes to play.

H.S. girls’ soccer

• Victoria Iozzi scored seven goals as Ellis Tech defeated Grasso Tech 8-3 in the Connecticut Technical Conference. Danielle Sands, Sanaa Jackson and Natalie Smith each scored a goal for the Eagles (0-3-1).

• Shoreline Conference rivals Old Lyme and Old Saybrook played to a 1-1 overtime draw. Callie Bass, assisted by Aggie Hunt, gave the Wildcats (2-2-1, 2-1-1) a 1-0 lead early in the second half before Breleigh Cooke’s unassisted goal tied it for Old Saybrook eight minutes later. Olivia Kelly made five saves for Old Lyme.

• Isabella Mawson scored in overtime to lift Woodstock Academy to a 3-2 win over NFA. Sadie Daniewicz and Jordan Fabry had goals for NFA (1-3-1, 1-1), Brooke Bolles and Emily Tucker had assists and Ava Boenig was strong on goal, making 11 saves.

H.S. volleyball

• Skylar Bell had 22 digs and five aces while Abby Parulis added 17 kills to highlight East Lyme’s 25-14, 25-11 and 25-21 win over Bacon Academy. Meghan Nagle added nine digs and three aces for the Vikings (3-2) and Shae McMunn finished with 26 assists and five aces. Kiera Stewart had 14 assists for Bacon (3-2).

• Ledyard defeated Montville 3-1 on Monday night, winning by game scores of 25-11, 25-14, 18-25 and 25-8. Grace Hadash had 11 kills and six aces for the Colonels (2-2) while Megan Tabraham had seven aces, Bryleigh Johnson 12 digs and Layla Lasisomphone 12 assists. Zoie Farrar led Montville (1-4) with five digs, four aces, three kills and three blocks while Grace Galvin finished with 10 digs, Reagan Buscetto four digs, three aces and one kill, and Ava Collins had five blocks, one dig and one kill.

H.S. field hockey

• Samantha Silva scored three goals as Waterford beat Woodstock 6-0 in an ECC game. Lauren Montanari and Katie Jamroga also scored for the Lancers (1-4, 1-2).

Men’s soccer

• Connecticut College defeated Trinity 3-0 for its first New England Small College Athletic Conference win. Gavin Vanden Berg, Augie Djerdaj and Steve Yeonas each scored a goal for the Camels (3-1-1, 1-1-1), while Alex Robles and Maurice Pigola added assists.

College field hockey

• Conn College scored three goals in the fourth quarter to defeat Smith College 4-1. Bridge McGann scored two goals in the quarter for the Camels (2-3) while Kyle Quinn added her second goal of the night. Goalie Sophie Moniz made two saves for Conn.

NL-Waterford Speedbowl

• Eric Berndt was forced to vacate his win in Saturday night’s SK Modified feature at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl when a post-race inspection determined his car had a tire infraction. Todd Owen, who finished second, was declared the winner on Tuesday, his sixth victory of the season.
