    H.S. lacrosse roundup: Johnson leads Bacon boys past Stonington

    Colchester — Troy Johnson scored seven goals to lift Bacon Academy past Stonington, 13-6, Tuesday in Eastern Connecticut Conference Division II boys’ lacrosse action.

    Ethan Lovetere chipped in two goals and three assists for the Bobcats (1-1, 1-0), who led by just one at halftime before scoring eight goals after intermission. Jameson Pirro had a goal and three assists and Tanner Kundahl added one goal and two assists. Goalie Chase Goulet made 15 saves.

    Nate Mahoney finished with four goals and an assist for the Bears (4-2, 2-1).

    In other games:

    • Boden Frost registered his 200th career point, finishing with a goal and seven assists for Fitch in a 14-10 win over Norwich Free Academy in Division I action. Tate Gordon had five goals and three assists while Roman Rich had three goals and two assists and Gabe Carey scored three goals for the Falcons (4-1, 1-1). Chase Beyus had 18 saves.

    Logan Jenkins had six goals and an assist, Conor Dempsey, Gavin Jenkins and Conor Gaughan each had a goal and Luke Wotring made 22 saves for the Wildcats (3-3, 2-1)

    • Will Sluggett contributed six goals and an assist while Ben Howes had six goals and four assists in St. Bernard/Wheeler’s 22-7 win over Montville in Division II. Noah Courter added five goals and two assists and Mark Sauchuk had three goals and three assists for St. Bernard (2-2, 1-0). Chris Baukus had three goals and three assists for the Wolves (1-5, 0-3) while Jacob Watson and Gavin Delucia each had two goals and one assist.

    • Macklin Cushman scored two goals and Ben Goulding added one for Old Lyme in a 16-3 loss to Haddam-Killingworth in the Shoreline Conference. The Wildcats are 2-2, 1-2.

    Girls

    • Sydney Goulding and Ella Curtiss Reardon led Old Lyme with four goals and two assists apiece in a 17-3 win over Haddam-Killingworth in the Shoreline Conference. Alexis Antonellis had four goals and Allie Krol added three for the Wildcats (3-0, 2-0).

    • Malahika Paulo scored four goals for New London in a 17-6 loss to Wheeler in Division III action. The Whalers fell to 0-4, 0-2, and the Lions climbed to 2-0, 1-0.

    • Skylar Frost had five goals and six assists as Williams School beat Forman 19-6 on Monday. Maria Morant scored three goals and Brook McLoughlin, Ally Iacobellis, Sarah Harvey and Ellie Reid scored two goals each for the Blues (2-4). Frost also had nine draw controls and seven ground balls.
