What an amusing name for a comedy platform featuring educators: Bored Teachers.

And apparently those funny teachers who are out touring have a lot of fans, because the Saturday show at the Garde Arts Center in New London is close to being sold out.

The teachers and former teachers showcased on Bored Teachers became huge hits with their videos, and so touring seemed the next natural step.

I’m sure they are not at a loss for material. There’s plenty of fodder in the world of education. Jokes have included everything from low pay to the most ridiculous excuses they’ve heard from students. And let’s face it, teachers are kind of performers anyway, right? They face tough audiences of kids every day.
