Crown act brings hope of change to Connecticut

Earlier this month the State of Connecticut passed the "Crown Act," legislation that would prohibit discriminatino on the basis of hairstyles historically associated with race.
"I think this means everything because a part of your hair is a part of who you are," said Brittany Curry, owner of Love on You in Norwich, about the passage of the act. Cola Randolph, of 2nd Combing in new london, spoke about how she hopes the passage of the act leads to less discrimination in the workplace.
