The town of Preston is proposing a $3 million dollar project to slow down traffic and create more of a village atmosphere in Poquetanuck Village The first phase of the plan includes improvements on Route 2A between Middle Road and Rt. 117, like raised crosswalks, new sidewalks, relocating telephone poles, and adding decorative street lights and historical signs.
