UConn junior forward Megan Walker was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division I All-America team on Thursday.

Walker, who announced she is leaving UConn to enter the WNBA Draft, was the American Athletic Conference Player of the Year and AAC tournament MVP. She averaged 19.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. She was also named to the Associated Press team. Walker is the 23rd UConn player to make the WBCA team.

Oregon senior Sabrina Ionescu also made the team and won her second straight Wade Trophy, the WBCA's Player of the Year. Ionescu won the Wade Trophy for the second straight year, just the sixth player to do that. She joins Nancy Lieberman (Old Dominion), Seimone Augustus (LSU), Brittany Griner (Baylor) and UConn's Breanna Stewart and Maya Moore as two-time winners.

Also making the team were Chennedy Carter of Texas A&M, Lauren Cox of Baylor, Kathleen Doyle of Iowa, Dana Evans of Louisville, Tyasha Harris of South Carolina, Ruthy Hebard of Oregon, Aari McDonald of Arizona and Satou Sabally of Oregon.

UConn senior Crystal Dangerfield and sophomores Olivia Nelson-Ododa and Christyn Williams received honorable mention.
