Police seize pot and cash from New London home

New London — Narcotics officers in New London joined with members of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force on Thursday to seize marijuana and cash from a New London home.

Police executed a search and seizure warrant at 8 Lee Ave., where police said they found more than 4 ounces of marijuana, $640 and drug paraphernalia.

Mark Perez, 26, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
