Two of the most memorable characters in all literature would be Bilbo Baggins and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, although connections betwixt the two are not particularly plentiful. However: illustrator David Wenzel has an association with both. He illustrated editions of both "The Hobbit" and "Rudolph," and he's one of the featured artists for the brand new Small Salon Show opening Wednesday at Ivoryton's Six Summit Gallery. More than 100 artworks by more than 20 artists will be on display. There will be two receptions in celebration of the exhibit, one from 5 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 26 and one from 4 to 10 p.m. Dec. 6.
