Bank Square Book hosts author Susan Kietzman

Our area has become a hotbed of major authors, so much so that each town can has its own official writer(s). Old Lyme has David Handler and Luanne Rice. Quaker Hill has Doug Clegg. The Norwich/Willimantic folks claim Wally Lamb, and Hadlyme boasts James Benn.

And, now, Mystic can proudly claim Susan Kietzman, whose new book, "A Changing Marriage" (Kensington), will be celebrated tonight with a signing appearance at Bank Square Books.

A story of a college romance that blossomed into a fruitful marriage - only to tatter under the weight of ambition and resentment - "A Changing Marriage" is Kietzman's second novel after 2013's "The Good Life."
