Norwich _ Police charged two city residents Feb. 7 on drug charges after they seized more than 650 bags of fentanyl from their home.

Christopher Dubicki, 33, and Angela Ziroli, 30, both of 259 Yantic St. were each charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts risk of injury to a minor. They are scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Feb. 22.

Police said that on Feb. 7 they executed a search warrant at the pair’s home and also seized packaging materials, five opiate pain pills, a police scanner, more than $100 in cash, and two-way radios. Police said two children were living in the residence at the time of the search. Police said they obtained the search warrant as a result of a several month-long investigation of the pair and their sale of fentanyl in the area.
