What more you could want to do in the cold winter? Well, maybe axe throwing, I suppose. If you’re at least 15 years old, Supercharged in Montville has that, too.

I’ve been here a handful of times with my kids, and while it’s a little expensive, it’s also unlike any other experience around here, and sometimes feels like a world unto itself. So while I channeled my inner A.J. Foyt, my kids were flopping away on trampolines and perfecting their ninja skills.

I haven’t yet worked up the courage to throw an axe.

A waiver is required to participate in all activities.

A single go-kart race will run you $22, and any single race or bundle is half off on Fridays. The trampoline park and ninja wipeout course goes for $15 per hour, and a one-hour lane rental in the Axe Lounge costs $24.95.
