Olde Mistick Village turns to ice this weekend.

Not that it is covered in ice, but rather that 25 ice sculptures will be exhibited around the village, and ice carvers will be doing their art live.

It’s part of Ice in the Village, which runs from Saturday through Monday.

The ice carving demo starts at noon Sunday in the gazebo, and it has a patriotic theme in honor of its being Presidents’ Day weekend: the ice will morph into an American eagle.

Folks can take part in a Scavenger Hunt by looking for 24 U.S. presidents whose images will be in the village shops and restaurants. People who complete the map can enter to win a prize, with winners announced on Facebook and Instagram.

    Ice in the Village, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat., 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sun., and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mon., Olde Mistick Village, Coogan Boulevard, Mystic; oldemistickvillage.com.
