    Holy days for whom?

I was appreciating and enjoying the article by Dan Rosenzweig-Ziff and Victoria Bisset, “Five holy events and holidays are packed into late March,” reprinted from the Washington Post, in The Day, Sunday, March 24, but then, I was stunned to see that Easter was omitted or only included under Palm Sunday.

In fact, there are three Christian holidays that were left off the list: Maundy Thursday (March 28), Good Friday (March 29) and Easter Sunday (March 31). One could argue that Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are “minor” holidays, but Easter is the foundational holiday of Christianity, even more than Christmas.
