Stonington — New England Science & Sailing will host its Fourth Annual Gala, themed "Voyage of Discovery," on Saturday, Nov. 3 at its 70 Water Street location.

The benefit will raise funds to support NESS's outreach scholarship programs, sponsorship of Special Olympics and education program enhancements. There will be cocktail and hors d' oeuvre stations, a seated gourmet dinner, live auction, and dancing to Michael Leigh's 9-piece band, "Celebration!"

"Last year auction donors outfitted the NESS marine science lab by purchasing microscopes, touch tanks, interactive white board and infrastructure," according to Susan Green, Benefit Committee Chair. "Now they can return to see each item and the impact of their generosity - it's a wonderful tradition," she said.

Seating is limited to 200 guests and tickets are $125 each with opportunities for ad space within the event program. Advance reservations are required.
