Who: RF is a young father of two teenage children who lives with his wife in Pawcatuck.

Agency: The Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Connecticut.

His situation: He has been cared for by the VNA for over a year as a result of his severe Type I Diabetes. He has many serious conditions related to the diabetes and is unable to work. His wife works part time, but as his primary caregiver she needs to be home much of the time. He is in a debilitated state due to his inability to eat a normal diet and receives his nutrition through a stomach tube which has caused further medical complications. He works hard to gain strength each day. RF and his family would have a brighter holiday with gifts of money or gift cards for food, clothing and other daily necessities.
