East Lyme — The thing about remote work is that it can be done anywhere.

Co-workers Briana Hansen, Isabella Nematalla and Devon Hall, all from the Child & Family Agency of Southeastern CT, were using their laptops to work Thursday at McCook Beach in Niantic.

"This is how we´re being creative but still being a team," Hansen said.

She said they have mainly been working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic but have started outdoor meetings and seeing clients in person.
