We happy few, we band of brothers: "Henry V" at Westerly Shakespeare in the Park

Once more unto the breach! The Colonial Theatre is returning for its 24th season of presenting Shakespeare in Westerly's Wilcox Park, with this year's production being "Henry V."

Starring as the title character is Colin Ryan. He was part of the "Waiting for Godot" and "No Man's Land" casts on Broadway in 2013-14, and he earned his masters degree in classical acting from The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C.

"Henry V" is set around the Battle of Agincourt during the Hundred Years' War, and the Colonial info notes that the drama is "a timely study of the causes and the price of war, of leadership, and the enduring legacy of violence."

Portraying Katharine, Princess of France, in the Westerly show will be Meghan LaFlam, who has starred in "Sweeney Todd" and "City of Angels" at The Lyric Stage Company in Boston and "Spring Awakening" at Gloucester Stage Company.

Colonial favorites Marion Markham and Ed Franklin are part of the cast, too, and Artistic Director Harland Meltzer directs.
