Sarah Gallivan Caruso, 75, of Branford, wife of the late Charles Caruso, died Oct. 26 at her home. She was born July 22, 1938 in New Brunswick, Canada to the late William A. and Jane Adair Gallivan. She worked as a registered nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital for many years until retiring.

She is survived by her brother Neil Gallivan of Ludlow, Maine. She was predeceased by her son Jonathan Caruso.

Friends are invited to a memorial gathering Saturday, Nov. 2 from 1– 2 p.m. at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. There are no calling hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 East Main St., Branford, CT 06405. The W.S.
