Lanes reopen after New London Gold Star Bridge crash

New London — All lanes of Interstate 95 northbound are open after a three-vehicle crash on the New London side of the Gold Star Memorial Bridge closed two lanes for a time Monday afternoon, according to state police.

State police described the scene at about 3:15 p.m. as a "mess" and said they were working to clear the accident. Ambulance crews also responded to the scene.
