Norwich, State police to conduct DUI checkpoints over holiday weekend

The Norwich Police Department and state police at Troop E in Montville will conduct sobriety checkpoints from 6 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday.

In addition to drunken drivers, police also will be on the lookout for drivers committing other motor vehicle violations.
