One seriously injured in Waterford motorcycle crash with car

Waterford ― A motorcyclist was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital Sunday with “serious but non life-threatening injuries” after a crash with a motor vehicle, police said.

Lt. Patrick Flanagan said the crash occurred at 4:28 p.m. on Hartford Turnpike in the area of Way Hill Road. Hartford Turnpike was shut down briefly while police and emergency personnel responded.

The incident is under investigation, Flanagan said.
