North Stonington man charged with home invasion

North Stonington — A local man was arrested Tuesday after police say he allegedly assaulted someone with a baseball bat while two juveniles were present.
Marc Caswell, 29, of 72G Stillman Rd., was charged in North Stonington with risk of injury to a child, home invasion, disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call, violation of a protective order and second-degree assault.
According to state police, Caswell left the scene and the victim fled the Stillman Road residence to get help following the incident.
Caswell has a Dec. 13 court date and is being held on a $500,000 bond.
