"Daily Show" host and comedian Trevor Noah does standup Friday in Foxwoods' Premier Theater. I checked the casino website and happened to notice that Noah's ticket info is right next to ticket info for Sal Vulcano, another comic who entertains Saturday in the Great Cedar Showroom.

I've never heard of Sal Vulcano, and yet the most expensive tickets to Sal Vulcano's show cost more than the most expensive Trevor Noah ducats! How can that be?!

OK, I'm back. Just watched to one of Sal Vulcano's bits on YouTube. It's about receiving a pair of women's pants accidentally in the mail. Sal Vulcano gets stoned and decided to hold the pants for ransom from the rightful owner and goes through increasingly ridiculous steps before contacting her. I can't tell you how it ends because it didn't amuse me, so I turned off my computer and went to sleep.

Seems like seeing internationally famous Trevor Noah for less money is a better deal, although Sal Vulcano might have a ton of funny stuff I haven't seen — and Noah's humor can be an acquired taste. PLUS, Sal Vulcano's head might explode and shower the Great Cedar Showroom comedy fans in a sort of Mt. Vesuvius of punchlines.

Let's see Trevor Noah do THAT.
