New London — New London Public Schools’ Hope Week kicks off Saturday with an educational symposium sponsored by the NAACP.

Hope Week runs through May 27 with a series of community and student driven presentations, concerts and performances.

The goal of Hope Week, now in its seventh year, is to send the message that the school district is united in its effort to help and support youth.
